April began with a cannon fired into a work debate, moved through hair loss, holiday walls and a Mars Bar that nearly floored me, and ended with a quiet walk along a Portuguese beach where everything finally slowed down. A month of learning that rest is not laziness, fear is not forever, and your body will always tell you the truth if you let it.
