Do I Need the Same Eating Window Every Day?

Do I have to stick to the same eating time frame every day?  My life is so varied.  Winnie.

Hi Winnie…Good news!  You really can play with your eating time frame.  Mine varies in a week.  Sometimes I have a 20 hour fast, sometimes, 18 and sometimes 16.  Mostly I average a 19 hour fast according to my ‘window’ app which records my daily fasting window.  I do find this app very useful indeed.  I tend to adapt my window according to my very varied days from eating pancakes in the morning when I visit my Grandchildren to really holding off on my window at weekends so I can eat with my husband.  So you find what works for you and feel free to mix it up.  The only thing I would say is keep an eye on the whole RAFT.  So when I have an longer eating window its not a day full of rubbish food and it does not necessarily mean that I eat loads more as I do keep an eye on quantity and quality – unless of course it is an amazing celebration like birthday and Christmas in which case…..I just don’t care…..hope that helps Winnie.  By the way to those of you who love to keep to a strict time frame – you do that if it suits you….we are all so different in our needs and something more rigid is just fine.
